The complex scoring model takes into consideration a lot of these things:
- The relevancy of your domain name (how relevant the web address you have given your website is to what you do),
- The relevancy of the page names and content sections of your website,
- The ratio of the keywords you use to the rest of your content,
- The Over use of Key Words (known as Keyword spamming),
- The quality of your website and all the links,
- Your bounce rate (how many people click of your website, when they have found you),
- How many other websites, directories and online social sites links to your site (link = have your web address somewhere on their site).
- The relevancy and strength of the sites that are linking to your site.
- Whether you are active in the Social Arena or not (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Myspace, YouTube etc.)
- Whether you have a blog within your site or not, and how much you use it etc.
